This mixed media painting collage expresses my love and passion for music, especially playing the piano. Music is such a crucial part of my life that I’d feel incomplete without it. It’s been my emotional healer, a comforting escape, and an outlet for my thoughts. I’m fascinated by how music triggers emotions through manipulation of sound vibrations, releasing dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin and endorphin chemicals within the limbic system of our brains, processing feelings and associated memories.

I appreciate all genres of music but I am mainly drawn to new-wave, experimental/synth rock and shoegaze. Though, as a pianist for over eight years, I enjoy playing eerie classical pieces like Satie’s “Gnossienne No.1” and Chopin’s “Prelude in E minor.”
