Anthropomorphic Stag

Concept

The underlying meaning behind this drawing conveys the human’s natural instinct to anthropomorphize or attribute human characteristics and feelings to inanimate objects or other animals. We do this subconsciously in order to better understand and connect with our surroundings, making them more relatable and familiar to us as humans.

But the reason why we do this is for survival and looking out for the motives of other people/things, primarily looking out for potential threats. This trait enhances our ability to empathize and develop a stronger emotional connection. I decided to depict this through a cryptid-like stag, as they symbolize self-awareness, personal growth, guidance, and spiritual awakening.
